Weight Management Programmes
By Groovybabe • Jun 18th, 2007 • Category: quotes, weightlossThe Weight Watchers plan (which is arguably one of the most respected weight loss programs) does not require any “special” foods. So why the need for branded foods?
A quote from this article about hydrogenated fats in Weightwaters foods. I think this quote has a good point. But then Weightwatchers has always been about the brand rather than the health of it’s clients, if you ask me. As you might guess, it is not a programme that I subscribe to. I have tried a number of times but always found it too restrictive. If you want to count every morsel that passes your mouth then I think Weightloss Resources is a much better resource. If funds are lacking then you can’t go wrong with the FitDay download programme, which for a one-off payment of $30 is really good. You use the programme from you computer (you don’t even need to be logged on to the internet) and it has all sorts of weightloss resources such as a journal, graphs, mood diary, measurements and food database. Real value for money.
To be honest, I haven’t been using my FitDay PC programme lately (I’ll use it today though), I have just been logging everything I eat in a paper journal, keeping within a set number of calories and trying to get as much exercise as possible. I was having trouble with losing the weight for a few days but today I woke up to a 2lb loss from yesterday, so I am kinda bouncing around on air right now.
It must be only a matter of time until I am 9 and a half stone. Granted, probably a year to a year and a half, but still - just a matter of time ![]()
Groovybabe is 14.11 stones today and feeling in control.
