Today

Today I am experiencing fat withdrawal symptoms, which is quite odd as I have been on the diet for almost 3 weeks now. I am not craving anything per sae but inside my body feels not quite right, like it’s low blood sugar or something. But I am pretty sure it is just my mind playing tricks on me. I didn’t sleep well last night, haven’t really drunk much either and I dreamed that I binged on WHITE sandwiches and bananas. I think my body just got over excited at the prospect of so many calories, LOL.

I had Special K with Soy(a) milk for breakfast, with a chopped strawberry, and that didn’t really help this feeling go away so I had a Vitality pre and probiotic yogurt, which was yummy. I had a banana a little while ago and have just had a pitta bread with ham and watercress for lunch. Yummy.

I am going to go to the gym this afternoon so hopefully that will take away this feeling.

I probably just need to drink more water as I never drink enough.

On a positive note though, it is almost 3 weeks dieting and not once have I fallen off the wagon!

Groovybabe is 14.11 stones today and feeling in control.

  1. I have yet to experience that…but I think with the drinking the Slim Fasts and having the bars, I get my chocolate craving taken care of…but hopefully it stays this way. Keep up the great work, and hopefully you’ll feel more like yourself real soon! :) Lotsa hugs!

  2. Good job! The first month is always the hardest part I hear. I don’t drink enough water either…but I am going to try. I got myself a BIGGG water bottle. I don’t know the psychology behind why I think the size of the bottle will make me drink more—but whatever works, right?

  3. The only way I can get in enough water every day is by carrying a 1L water bottle everywhere I go. I also use a straw with it, which seems to help - I never notice how much I’ve drank when I’m sipping, so it’s “oh! the bottle is empty! wheee!”
