Hairy Times
Yesterday was a bit hairy in places. There was a period in the afternoon where I felt an overwhelming urge to stuff my face. I don’t know where it came from but I was closer than I have been in the last three weeks to giving in to the feeling. About 4pm I decided to have some watermelon to offset the feeling, which helped a little bit - until it came to preparing dinner! I was making wholemeal pasta but for some reason couldn’t wait so I ended up having a pitta bread with mackerel in tomato sauce and watercress inside. It was lovely! It did the trick so I ended up having only a small amount of pasta (half my normal small portion) and a big plate of fresh salad. I guess it didn’t help that circumstances got in the way of my workout as well.
I just weighed in this morning and am another pound down, so I must be doing something right.
Pretty much for the last five years I have had very very bad insomnia. It has got in the way of a dynamic job I had and almost came between me and my degree at one point. I was only managing to sleep every 17 hours but needing about 9 hours once I am asleep. This meant that every day my body clock got later and later every day until I come full circle. I haven’t slept during the day for about two months now due to having more in my life and being forced to be active during the day (no matter how tired I have been) but for the last four nights my sleep has been verging on normal. I’ve been going to sleep at 10.30pm-ish and waking up at 6 or 7am. I am so sure this is down to my healthy eating and exercise plan.
Last night was spent tarting up my CV ready to start applying for more jobs, which is what I will be doing today either side of my gym workout. I just hope that this sore throat and very slight fluy feeling goes away!

Two white baps with ham isn’t the end of the world
You probably deserved the treat. Don’t feel so bad, I had tacos for dinner and I ate 4 of them. FOUR! ha ha. I had my dinner all planned out and Damo said the dirty word “TACOS” and I said okay. hmmph.
Where’d you get two white baps from eh?
I’m going to try and get some kind of cardio in tomorrow and do leg and ab stuff on the total gym. I’ll reward myself (with food!? I know I know) with some veggie sushi. Super healthy!!

Yeah, it could definitely have been worse.
I’d say, ‘okay’ is a dirtier word than ‘tacos’ LOLOL!
The white baps were sat next to my gorgeous cranberry burgen bread in the bread bin. They were my mum’s and they’d been sat there staring at me for days!
I heart sushi!
