Groovybabe’s Top Tips

 I just wrote some top tips on the forum and thought I would share them here.

  1. Drink, drink, drink. It’s something I am slowly learning. But it really helps. At least 2litres of water per day. The more often you drink enough the easier it gets.
  2. Workout - make sure you work out at least 3x a week. Without exercise I couldn’t survive on any diet. It reduces your appitite substantially.
  3. Keep a journal - write down everything you eat and drink and put your exercise too, that way when you plateau you can work out where you are going wrong. Even if you binge, write everything down. It helps you to confront your behaviour.
  4. Stay Focused on the job - in order to lose weight you must at all times stay focused on what it is you want to achieve. Weightloss including diet and exercise must be your number one priority.
  5. Don’t be hard on yourself - if you don’t beat yourself up you will start to feel better about yourself which means you will be less likely to fall off the wagon.

Groovybabe is 14.9 stones today and has lost 2lbs at her last weigh in.

    what were you asking? my previous weight? i came back from vacation and was up a pound and a half- 260.5. if that was what you were asking….if not, try again. :)
