Goin’ down

I am so pleased with myself right now because I am back down to 17.10!! I rock!! I didn’t think I’d get there yet so I am floating on air. I may be able to get down 1lb more for my weigh in tomorrow! Fingers Crossed!

I also went to the gym yesterday despite starting to feel like I had a bad cold coming on. I’ve been getting ill roughly every two weeks for months and just around the time I started dieting (6 weeks ago) I had the doctor run some blood tests. Everything came back normal except for one thing. I can’t remember the name of the test but basically my red bloodcells were not dividing properly or anything. The doctor said it was nothing to worry about at that stage as the test only means something if other results come back abnormal, which they didn’t. However she would like me to retest but I can’t be feeling ill when I do as if you’re ill when you test you could generate a false reading (which is what they think may have happened last time). But I keep getting ill and I need to do the test! Bah! So anyway, I went to the gym yesterday feeling bloated and sore as I am due on in one week and the onset of cold/flu symptoms but I ignored it all and did my workout anyway. How good am I?!!!!

I am so happy the scales are heading in the right direction again!

Groovybabe is 14.9 stones today and has lost 2lbs at her last weigh in.

    working out while not feeling good….you deserve a medal! take some Vitamin C and Echnacea (sp?)….especially the Ech. that always helps me fight off a cold in early stages.

    Don’t put so much pressure on the midweek scale amounts, C. And remember to tell me to practice what I preach! Ha ha ha…

  3. LOL, Betz! The thing is, I need to put pressure on myself over the scales because when I don’t I slip. It really is for the best.

    Thanks, Lady T. In theory I shouldn’t need to take extra vitamins because I am getting my 5-a-day but I definitely think it might be worth taking some Echinacea. I’ll pick some up today.
