Death Clock

By Groovybabe • Jul 31st, 2007 • Category: being motivated, comedy, health, incentive

According to the Death Clock, based on my BMI of 39 I have until 2049 to live. It looks like I have been given an extra year to live since I have come down from a BMI of 43 but if I get to goal of <25 BMI I will live until 2054, giving me an extra 5 years to live.

  • At my heighest weight - live until I amĀ  73
  • At my current weight - live until I am 74
  • At my goal weight - live until I am 79

Groovybabe is 14.11 stones today and feeling in control.

  1. Woo hoo! That’s such a neat tool.

According to it, losing 10lbs bought me an extra year of life!

  2. Oh my god….why is it so young???? Everyone in my family lives past 90. Except one grandpa who died at 86 because of hospital errors.

  3. Heh, well I think your family are very lucky then - and very healthy! I don’t think the average death rate is that high, is it? Anywho, I dunno my paternal grandmother died aged 73 due to bowel cancer (which we largely put down to her diet when she was younger) but my maternal great-grandmother died in her early 90’s I think, just of old age. I am guessing once we hit old age then the death rate will be higher anyway…

  4. I don’t even want to know how short they are predicting my life to be.
