Weigh In (Week 11)
I really didn’t want to weigh in today because yesterday I just ate so much crap with complete abandonment…like I haven’t since I started. It all went wrong when I woke up absolutely shattered from moving the day before and my breakfast cereal had gone for a walk. I felt so weak and I just thought… food! So I had a Steak and Kidney pie for breakfast! It went wrong from there on in! However, it doesn’t seem to have affected my weight so I guess all the lifting I have been doing (today will be the third day) has counteracted the badness. I am currently at 16.12, which means I have lost 3lbs since my weigh in last week of 17.1.
I have also seen some good results with other measurements. BMI is down to 38 exactly, so I should be in the 37’s next week (w00t), I no longer have 7 stones of pure fat weight to get rid of as my body fat weight is now 6.13 stones. Body fat percentage is down point seven, too.Water has risen half a percent. Good work if you can get it! You can see the stats here.
I am moving into my flat properly today. I am so excited because I have my own fridge and freezer (it’s massive!) and a cooker and, well, my own place. I am close to the water too so can go for long strolls/bike rides/runs. It’s going to be great. I won’t buy any rubbish either so I don’t have to battle with my demons. The gym is also that much closer so I will be walking to the gym as much as possible, which is extra exercise.

Thats great. One day of slipping up isn’t the end of the world - its when you do what I do, and one day of crap turns into another and another and before you know it you’ve been eating junk for 2 months!

Don’t beat yourself up AT ALL. You’ve been good for how long now? MONTHS. And you know what else, a cheat day can be good for you, as long as you eat healthy at least 85% of the time.
When you diet for a long time, your leptin levels drop and your metabolism slows (as does weight loss), so a cheat day or a “refeed” will reset that for you and enable you to keep losing weight. It’s not a bad thing, this one off day that you had.
You’re not going to gain weight from one bad day and tomorrow, you’re just gonna get back on the wagon and keep going. You’ve done amazingly so far, I’m so happy for you, moving out, losing weight, it’s all so wonderful! GO YOU!!!

Congratulations on your weight loss this week! You are doing great!
Sounds like your new flat (wow…never used that word before…we say “apartment” on this side of the pond…lol) is at a great location for exercise! It will be so nice for you to walk and bike by the water, and to be able to walk to the gym.
Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys, you don’t have to worry, I am not beating myself up in the slightest about my day off. I’m two days eating well since then. I am doing this, it’s slow but I am getting there. Snail wins the race and all of that.

Congrats on moving into your own place!! Look at it as a fresh start to your path to a fit and healthy YOU!! You can fill that massive fridge with lots of healthy fruits and veggies. Let go of your failures of the past and look to the future and making the most of it.
