Motivation is Good

I am just back from a particularly good workout at the gym. Particularly good because it’s the first time I have done a full workout in a week (I just did weights the other day because I walked 90 minutes there and back) and it really brushed the cobwebs away!

My instructor got on the cross trainer next to me and we had a good natter about my weightloss (even though it was her day off!). She told me - for the first time - that she can see it coming off from my hips and waist! We also discussed the possibility of my doing some jogging on the treadmill and she said she would monitor me doing it tomorrow and see what suits my needs… after I said it I was a bit like gah what did I say that for?!! But I am sure it will be fine, I am a lot fitter these days.

I noticed that today actually. On the bike I did almost 3.5km’s on the bike in 10 minutes, which is 1km more than when I started. I found I couldn’t go quite as fast on the cross trainer today (around 60) but that could have had something to do with trying to watch Neighbours while I work out, LOL.

I’m seeing good losses this week; it seems to have sped up a bit again, which I am sure must be down to all the activity from moving. And now I am living out of home I am so much more active. I am loving keeping my home spick and span. I was never a tidier-upper before and I never really got the opportunity at my mums as I used to just stay in my bedroom the whole time but I guess living in those circ’s for so long has made me really houseproud, and I am sure that is helping with burning calories. Also, my local high street is a 10 minute walk so I often walk there if I want to pick something up (twice today) and also I have a seafront near me (literally 2 mins away) so on non-gym days I take my son down there for a 30 minute stroll. I literally have lost my couch potato syndrome!

And locally there are lots of *really* fit men around so I am doubly eager to get moving with looking betterer and betterer!

So…tomorrow… my next measurements and weigh in with the gym - how exciting!!! And also my apointment with the weightloss nurse is an hour later, so by tomorrow’s end I should be feeling super motivated!

Thanks! I even chose to wash up over watching my soaps tonight - I just can’t sit still for that long any more!!!

Yeah, I’ve wanted it for so long. I just didn’t have a way to make it happen before. So glad I took a risk though…
