Weigh In (Week 16)
Today marks four months that I have been doing this, and today also marks the first time that I haven’t seen a loss - and in fact the first week I have seen a gain. There is a first week for everything, I guess.
Actually I thought I’d maintained as I was sure I weighed 16.2 last week but upon updating my stats just now I see I weighed 16.1 last week… to be fair though I have really struggled and consider myself lucky that it was only 1lb and that I am still here writing this. I am very much an all or nothing person, something I have been trying to change with some success, and the fact that I am still plodding along when all I feel like doing is binge binge binge speaks volumes in how far I have come over the last four months. Also, having lost at an average rate of 3lbs per week since I started I am allowing myself one week (only) of not losing. It’s not going to kill me.
Actually, writing this I can feel my motivation increasing for seeing a loss next week. I am going to try to aim for the 15 stone era by next Friday.
Anyway I have an inspection by the landlord in 90 minutes so I should get back to the housework. Thanks for all your support. x.

Yay for being motivated again, I think you have a tendancy to be far too hard on yourself. You have done bloody well so far, and will continue to do so, I have absolute faith in you.

Aww, shame. I was looking forward to 15 stone 13ish for you. Maybe next week. Don’t be discouraged. Keep going!

Don’t worry about this slight gain, girl. It’s only a TEMPORARY bump in the road. You’ll get over it and move past it and continue to lose weight. No doubt in my mind!

I can’t wait to see you turn this around…and hey, cleaning the house burns calories so you are off to an excellent start for next weeks weigh in!

Look at the support you have!
With so many people hoping you succeed, how can you fail? You can’t!
You knew you weren’t having a good week, and rightly so. Getting sick really throws your body out of whack. But here you go, get right back into it. You know yourself and your body a lot better than you did 4 months ago. It’s just the sleep situation that you can’t figure out. But you got a DEGREE when your sleep was at some of its worst points. This is easy in comparison!
You’re doing so well though C. Sooooo well. It’s amazing what progress you’ve made and it doesn’t all end here since you’ve hit a wall, you have to climb over the damned wall!! You know it already so I need not tell you.
Kia kaha miss C. (It means ‘be strong’) and know that we’re not just readers, we’re friends and fans.

4 months and this is your first week with a gain? That’s amazing! Great job, stick with the program, and know that at times you simply can’t always show down on the scale.
