I have not officially weighed in this week yet. This is because my sleep pattern is completely messed up and I cannot get an accurate reading. And I do not want to get disheartened by weighing in after only 2 hours sleep. I am completely confident that I am doing well but I haven’t been having daily weigh in’s since I became ill a week ago due to my sleep pattern. At least, two days ago - which was my last accurate reading - I weighed in at 15.8, which would mean a loss of 4lbs, but I don’t want to jump the gun. It is currently 6.30am on a Sunday morning and I managed to sleep from 12am-4.30am, which is my best sleep in a week but still not adequate. The hours I kept with sleep though should enable me to stay awake all day and get a full nights sleep tonight and wake up tomorrow ready to weigh in. We’ll see.

I am still very very ill. I had to ring the gym on Thursday and postpone my review, which made me sad. Even though I am ill, when I am laying in bed reading in order to preserve energy and get better sooner, I find myself dreaming - wishing - that I could get back into the gym. I did consider going in today but that would be stupid because I am still very far from feeling better. I’m going to take this weekend to continue to rest up and hopefully I should be better for Monday in the gym. If not then so be it but that is my plan.

Groovybabe is 14.9 stones today and has lost 2lbs at her last weigh in.

  1. awww, sorry you’re feeling bad honey. I have a very attrctive hacking cough that has been keeping awake at night for the past week, so I kind of know where you’re coming from. Hope you feel better soon.

  2. Yeah - its better to fully recover before you go back to the gym otherwise you risk a relapse and putting yourself back even further.

    Good luck for the scales tomorrow. :o)

  3. Zanitta - I hope you’re starting to feel better. I am, slowly. I think it really helped that I didn’t go out this weekend. Thanks.

    Jo - Yeah. I think I’ll go to the gym on Monday, even if I only do a weights session. I need to get back into the habit of it. I am starting to feel a bit better but am still a little runny in the nose area and sore in the eyes but it is nothing getting back into a structure will not cure.

    I’m not weighing in today either despite them currently giving me a 2lb loss (15.10) because I am only sleeping in 2-3 hour spurts and its just not accurate enough for me to log it. I think I am going to miss this weeks weigh in all together and wait until Friday.

    I have started to use WLR again and am being really good after a chat with stormyangel so I am confident I will do well this week. I have my goal of 14.7 to reach for christmas and only 9 weeks to meet it!!
