Weigh In (Week 19)

By Groovybabe • Oct 22nd, 2007 • Category: being motivated, diet management, goals, insomnia, weighing in, weightloss, weightloss rules, xenical

I have just had the most blissful seven hours sleep known to man. It took some organising though. As we know my sleep has been on antipodean time lately. Not only that but I’ve been getting two hours at a time and well, on top of being ill, you can guess how that left [...]

Sleep -to get my sleeing pattern back to normal.

A few guidelines for myself. I need to nip this attitude to dieting in the bud and get back on [...]

Being Accountable

By Groovybabe • Oct 20th, 2007 • Category: life

I have not officially weighed in this week yet. This is because my sleep pattern is completely messed up and I cannot get an accurate reading. And I do not want to get disheartened by weighing in after only 2 hours sleep. I am completely confident that I am doing well but I haven’t [...]

A new report has been released in the UK that says obesity is more dangerous than smoking. It reports that while smoking can reduce life by up to ten years, obesity can take 13 years off a persons life.
This is not telling me anything I did not know. Okay, so I wasn’t aware of [...]

Looking Back

By Groovybabe • Oct 17th, 2007 • Category: stuggling

I’ve been going through some old blog entries (on another blog) and looking at how I felt when I first decided to lose weight. Here is an interest excerp that I came across and something I should keep in mind.
I saw a bit of Oprah yesterday and they had a woman on there who [...]

Ill

By Groovybabe • Oct 16th, 2007 • Category: sickness

This is more of a status update than a post… I think I have tonsillitis, or something around the tonsil area… Monday I thought I was still post hangover so didn’t go to the gym, then Tuesday realised I was starting to feel fluy and today my throat is killing me. So I’ve not [...]

Hit Me Baby, One More Time

By Groovybabe • Oct 15th, 2007 • Category: celebrations, challenges, clubbing, dating, diet management, exercise, goals, incentive, insomnia, mental health, self esteem, weightloss, xenical

I hit 15.9 on the weekend. One more pound off, I hear you say, nothing substantial. But no! It is! I now weigh under 100kg at 99.5kg! And I am also 219lbs, which means I am no longer in the 220’s!! How about that then?
I went out this weekend and got ever so slightly [...]

Feeling Fit

By Groovybabe • Oct 13th, 2007 • Category: eating healthily, exercise

After I weighed in and my son went to school this morning, I thought I would catch another hour as I’d been awake since 4.30am. But I then woke up at 1pm. I’d missed my chance to go to the gym! I thought about just giving in to circumstances. Lately I’ve been so lazy [...]
