The red colour seems to have completely disappeared now and there is no pain as such. When it was full on red I did get a bit achy where my kidneys were but I am not entirely convinced that wasnt an anxiety attack.

You said it cleared up when you stopped drinking the juice.
Yeah it depends on what else your body is trying to sort out. If you've been boozing recently, your liver is still sorting itself out and trying to balance you out again.
If you're certain it's not the juice and it is blood, I'd go in ASAP to get it checked out. Especially if you have any pain.

yeah but ive been drinking it for weeks now and its only just turned a funny colour, and it started when I was drinking less of it not more, so I dunno. I havent had any for over 24 hours now and still have a red tint to my wee. I might go get checked out tomorrow if it is not gone.

That wasn't blood. Blackcurrant juice, beetroot, asparagus, and lots of other things can change the colour of your pee. Your body doesn't always metabolize it fully and if you drink enough of it, the colour makes it through!

When I was eating beetroot heaps my pee was always tinged with a reddish purple.
