Marshmellows

By Groovybabe • Nov 22nd, 2007 • Category: food, stuggling

Yesterday was what one could describe as a complete disaster. I made two prominent bad decisions:

  1. Not eating before a work out, meaning I was ravenous when I finished.
  2. Buying marshmellows “to put one or two” in a cup of low cal hot chocolate. I wasn’t supposed to then go on to eat the rest of the packet. Oops.

And o f course those disasters then led on to other disasters. I weighed in at 15.3 today. I nearly never weighed in but I need to face the damage when it happens. The last time I had a bad day (13th November), I weighed in at 15.8, so at least I know I am still losing weight. Today I am trying to have a day of detox and am going to cook up a home made soup for snacking and maybe make a curry for tonight.

I am off to London tomorrow so will not be able to weigh in until Tuesday after tomorrow morning, and I will not be in my home environment so binging will be at an absolute minimum, so I am hoping when I get back I should see quite a good difference.

Groovybabe is 14.9 stones today and has lost 2lbs at her last weigh in.

  1. A brought a bag of American marshmallows (I don’t like the kind they have in NZ) back from the states with her for me and D. I’m afraid of opening it because like them too much. Unfortunately she brought back my fav super processed “cheese” product, and pop tarts and Twinkies for us as well. Going to try to make them all last as long as I can. :) But yum!!

  2. Ken bought a bag of mini marshmallows and I’m trying to only use a few of them in every other cup of cocoa and resist the urge to shove them into my mouth by the handful….why do the puffy white balls of sugar have to be so addicting?
