According to this article moves are being made to stop fat people from conceiving through IVF. Currently people with a BMI of 35 or higher are not able to qualify. This may come as a surprise but I don’t think the BMI cut off is lower and I am in favour of lowering it […]

As soon as I woke up today I felt a disaster day coming on. To be fair I felt it last night. This past week I have been making an effort to cook meals from scratch so I think I have been eating much less fat in my meals and this is what I […]

I finally managed to get my scales back.
I was really nervous about getting on them today because it has been since the beginning of the week since I’d weighed in, a long time in my book. I have had 4 good days and 1 day that went to pot. On my good days I […]

You know the kind: everything goes wrong from the moment you wake up.
I woke up and walked my son to school only for him to start feeling sick as we approach the school. We end up coming home again so all my plans for the day are out of the window.

Every […]

Something happened at the gym today, but I am not sure what. There was definitely a line, or a defining moment, where my attitude to this whole process changed for the better.
I went in today and really went for it. It helped heaps that I had a new workout and knocking 10 minutes off […]

After the lengths my instructor went to to find out when I would next be in I was unable to make it to the gym today. I didn’t have any gym clothes to wear (I rely on my mum to do my washing and she didn’t… ) plus my leg was hurting again today. […]

I didn’t have any trousers to wear to my review today so I ended up digging out the pair I first wore to the gym six months ago. I looked ridiculous. Baggy isn’t even the word. The bum was hanging down miles further than my actual bum and I could probably fit a normal […]
