Another Day

Yesterday’s weight: 15.0
Calories consumed yesterday: 1514
Exercise: none
I was thinking about going to weightwatchers classes today. I decided not to at this stage for a few reasons. Mainly I seem to be more successful when my diet has a bit of fat in it* and this goes against weightwatchers but also it is money in the lead up to christmas that I don’t have available. Plus I do seem to be managing my diet at the moment. I have decided that if by next Monday I am not in control then I will sign up but for now I am okay.
I saw a 2lb fluctuation today but am not concerned about it at all. I did lose 4lbs yesterday so it is kind of to be expected. I am still 2lbs down and I *know* I didn’t over eat last night, so it is all good.
I should have gone to the gym first thing but I didn’t get a lot of sleep and couldn’t face it, so I will go tomorrow instead. I will have an hour or so of walking today though so I won’t completely go without.
Last night my tummy was really aching. I couldn’t work out if it was because I had eaten too much (heaps of veggies) as Xenical can do that to you, or whether it is TOM on its way. I think it is probably the later because its come back again today and my boobies are really sore. That means no jogging for me this week, GRR!
*When I eat a meal with some fat in it (it doesnt have to be bad fats, can be olive oil) I am satisfied afterwards but when I don’t, I am not. Yesterday I had a garlic chicken fillet with sweet potato and heaps of veggies but I was not satisfied, whereas I had burger in a bun, and omelette cooked in olive oil, at seperate times and while less calories left me more full.
Groovybabe is 14.11 stones today and has lost 6lbs at her last weigh in.

Wow groovy babe,
54 pounds in 6 months is a fantastic achievement. You’re doing great. There’s bound to be ups and downs. Hang in there - you’re moving in the right direction and doing something really incredible for yourself.
Angie
WeightWatchers must be running a different program in the UK! NZ WW only concentrates on saturated fats, not overall fats. They only use sat fats in their point calculation (unlike the US version which uses overall fat).
In fact, the NZ WW system requires/suggests of you to intake 2 spoons of oils per day. I put flaxomega oil on my salad or in my yoghurt to cover this.
I eat eggs cooked in oil (i use spray as it is better for you plus easier to cover the whole pan).
Weightwatchers lets you eat what you want - no joke! A two egg omelette filled with veggies is likely to only be 3 points! your chicken meal would have probably totalled something like 6, depending on the size of sweet potato and chicken. You could have put a slice of cheese and some chicken bacon in your omelette too and only added up another 1.5 points.
God my comment made me hungry for an omelette!
WW typically has new years specials over here, hopefully yours will be the same if you want to join.
I do better when I have good fats in my diet, if I go too low fat, I stall.
Angie - you wouldnt say that if you saw how much I have eaten tonight!!
Betz - Nah, it is the same programme, I just think that things like burgers probs have a high unsat fats and will use up loads of points and then I’ll think I cant cope and eat even more just because I’m not allowed, like today..gahhhhhhhhhh…. I do love omelettes so that is interesting to hear it is low in points… I MUST get the spray oil this week, I’ve been meaning to for a while.
Diana - Yeah I have a coupon for free registration so I may do it on thursday if I can get a sitter.
