On My Way Down
By Groovybabe • Dec 21st, 2007 • Category: being motivatedHere are some of the benefits of weightwatchers as I see them two days in:
- I dont have to deal with calories so can lose my obsessiveness over them (and quit binging)
- I am making healthier choices to increase the amount I can eat (yesterday I swapped a third of a pizza in exchange for a salmon fishcake, sweet potato and veggies and saved 2 points)
- Due to making better nutritional choices I am feeling much better, inside. In fact, I feel now as if all the toxins from the c*** is being flushed from my system.
- If I am hungry and have eaten all my points I can still have points-free food. If I’d eaten all my calories in the past I couldnt eat anything else. This is really helping me to keep the strength of mind and stay in control of what I am eating.
- The weight is coming off fairly quickly and I am feeling slimmer. LOL. That makes me feel a success.
- I can save points each day and if I feel like a binge at any point in the week it is not going to ruin my diet.
- The best thing though has to be that I have just grabbed this diet malarky by the neck and taken the control back. Theres always a way, half the battle is in just finding it.
Groovybabe is 14.9 stones today and has lost 2lbs at her last weigh in.
