Concentrate On Other Things

I am down to 14.3 today, that is a 2lb loss since Monday, and I still have the weekend before my weigh in too! I am also in Onderland again, and only 1lb from my all time recent lowest.

It is so much easier to lose weight when you have other things in your life, other things that you can look forward to other than seeing the next pound down on the scale. I havent even been watching what I am eating at all, just grazing really when I fancy it so I fully expected to go back up to 14.5 today but I didn’t! The differences this week, to other weeks, are that I have got back in the gym, and I am doing a lot more walking. It makes more of a difference than I realised.

I am off to the gym again this morning, but I am not going to run. I still am having sciatica twinges in my bum and I do not want to be disabled for the weekend. I will do as I did on Wednesday: walk to the gym (45 mins), do a weights session (30mins) and walk home again (45 mins) weather permitting (we’ve had 70mph gale force winds last few days).

I have been back in touch with my university and am in talks about returning to do a masters degree. I was accepted a couple of years ago but had to defer due to the money situation. I think now is a good time about enhancing my career in this way. And how amazing will it be to go back to my old uni in a size 12, when the last time I was there I was in a size 22-24?!

Groovybabe is 14.11 stones today and feeling in control.

    Betz - Well I have to apply for funding but provided I get that, I will start in September, which is plenty of time to reach my goal!!!!
