Here I am on day three; on a roll! Not literally, you understand, although I am eating a Petit Pain as we speak! No, I am doing really well, scarily well. I have only gone down a pound so far but I have a feeling I will have a dramatic loss in the next day or so because I have been good.

As we know I don’t sleep at night but I have been trying to keep my meal times to their correct format so that means eating nothing from about 10pm onwards until I fall asleep anytime between 4am and 7am. The night before last I became ravenous about 4am so made myself a fresh salad, which came to about 30 calories, and that satisfied me. Last night the only thing I ate when I should have been sleeping was a baby carrot. Oh and a red pepper. Oh and a tomato, but that was it! Very different to the times when I would have 4 bowls of cereal through the night and/or an abundance of sandwiches!

Here is how I did yesterday:

Calories: 1604
Carbs - 56%
Protein - 24.7%
Fat - 19.1%
Alcohol - 0%
Water - 2 litres plus 3 cups of decaff tea
Fruit and Veg - 20 portions!

I wish there were some motivational weightloss programmes on the television at the moment, such as Gillian McKeith’s You Are What You Eat or The Diet Doctors but there is nothing on at all.

Last week and for a few weeks before I’d been getting really ill. Flu-like symptoms and feeling worn out all the time. Since my nutrition has improved, so has my health interestingly. In fact I feel like I want to head over to the gym but I am so tired from insomnia that I cannot face it. Talking of health, I have to have a mole checked tomorrow that is looking really worrying. Otherwise, things are improving.
